ARTUR BETERBIEV VS DMITRY BIVOL WTF HAPPENED!!!!!

  1. Have you heard anything about vada in this fight? Yet there was vada for the smith fight. Amazing how biev can throw all them punches just like jarell miller.

  2. So, I'll hold my hands up and say, last night I was the same, I thought Dmitry was hard done by. I still do a little with the 116-112 card, that does not represent how well Dmitry was doing in any way, but I do think it was a much closer fight than I initially thought.

Objectively, for me, it's an obvious draw, but 115-113 to Bivol personally. I preferred the counter punching from Bivol and the cleaner work.

I actually hope there is a rematch, because I think Bivol could improve personally, I just feel he'd have more to give and could potentially redeem himself in a rematch.

I can't really argue with a 115-113 for either fighter.

On a side note, Ramzan Kadyov appearing and giving Artur the result before the cards were announced was incredibly sketchy. While it wasn't a robbery in that it was a close fight, I do think they were trying to fix the fight for biev either way. Something about that whole situation stinks.

  3. Alen Babic ended up exactly how I knew he would. Around a dozen pro fights before being found out. I used to follow a local boxer with a similar style….around 9 or 10 pro fights and found out by someone with actual skills.

  4. Gman go listen to The Teddy Atlas with Radio Rahim video , Teddy at his most knowledgeable, Best Breakdown by far

  5. I had beterbiev. Shots landed were extremely close, beterbiev landed more power shots, threw far more, and was the aggressor. It could have gone either way, it was super close. People love close fights! You know what people don't like? Sore losers..

  6. You can't rely on judges to give you every round you win by pure boxing. Sucks, but thems the facts. You have to control the narrative of the fight. Bivol boxed beautifully, but in the Championship rounds he shelled up and his work rate plummeted. Maybe Beterbiev is just hitting gloves, but he's coming forward and throwing. Bivol needed to back the monster up and stop his forward momentum. If he'd done that in the final three rounds, he probably wins the fight.

Think about how Usyk works a fight. He ALWAYS makes sure to turn the heat up late. Against Fury, he knew Fury was going to get preferential judging on the cards. He knew he had to hurt the giant and make it obvious. So he did exactly that. And knocking down Fury was what made the difference on the final card which gave him the win by 1 point.

And enough of the robbery nonsense. A robbery is when one guy is obviously washing his opponent every single round and then he loses on the cards. Or when a guy gets the win stolen from him through a rigged ref stoppage like with Froch/Groves. A close, competitive fight with lots of close rounds isn't a robbery because one guy had a slightly wide card. I know Hearn has had it rough of late, but he was out of order for that rant.

  7. It was a very close fight. I don't think Beterbiev deserved the W, but a draw would have been fair. Bivol was ahead most of the fight, but lost the championship rounds and was visibly very tired. The fight was definitely going in one direction. I only had a problem with the 116-112 card. What a fight! Hope the rematch happens.
