(Is it really right that I can only post text or images not both?)
I have been struggling to get any answers from SkyTrak on the situation with their new Mac app. All they say is that it needs an M-series processor. But they don’t say what resolution they support or whether more memory/CPU/GPU cores helps in any way.
I managed to get hold of a refurbished Mac mini M2 and will be running some tests to compare graphics. I am considering using the Mac mini stuck behind a monitor as my main set up (wired or airplayed to the big TV in the space). I need to put my set up away every time I use it, and don’t use a projector.
Anyhow, from early tests, I can confirm that the Mac has higher quality graphics. I’ve attached a few screenshots. I can’t seem to upload a full quality Mac image here, so I’ve only attached the extreme crops. The comparison is between a M4 iPad Pro 13 inch and 5k Mac mini M2.
I don’t know if anyone else cares about this but happy to share the results if you are.

Typically in a lot of message boards you are beer off getting an imgur account and posting there, then linking to those images

Can you let us know the specs of your Mac? I have a 16GB M2 Mac mini and interested in your results.
