For context I was a college tennis player and have been playing a ton of golf and working on my handicap for about 5 years now. (I grew up hitting with my dad but I would not saying playing or hitting often.) I have taken a double handful of lessons or less over the years and most of my game is my own. Just figuring what works for me and course management ( I can hit the shjt out of the ball and not always accurately and can chip but not put, until recently)
Anyways back to golf today my dad and I walked our local muni and my game has been hit or miss lately. Really good rounds have been mid 70’s but most have been 78-82 range id say for a while.
Woke up with no expectations stretched and just said you know what I can go low today, really fucking around honestly. Just didn’t think about any shot, grinded out bad ones and kept focus.
Easily could have been a 70 day or even 69 if I have a few better puts. Had no expectations didn’t care if I hit bad shots and had the most fun and best performance I’ve ever had. Hell my first tee shot, par 5 I topped It 170 yards 😂
Well boys just want to say hope is out there! who know boring golf would be so electric?

So you got 2/3 up and downs after hitting 16 GIRs? Did a chip miss the green and you got up and down from there? Confused as to how you had the third up and down opportunity.
