Stop trying to hit the ball and just swing the club.

You want to fix everything that comes before hitting the ball. Wait until your lesson.

Looks like you’re taking it away hard on the inside and swinging over the top. Focus on keeping your forearms together- get a little 3” diameter ball and keep it between your forearms and it should stay there until after you hit the ball.

And I think you’re firing your shoulders first. Try to keep your back to the target as long as you can

Hip should lead your shoulders in the swing

You’re head is bouncing all over the place make “eye contact” with the ball and make sure your head doesn’t bounce up and down

But also I’m a weekend hacker and I know nothing lol

  4. You know those birds that move their body but not their head? Do that while you swing, pretend your chin is resting on a ledge and dont move it till after you hit the ball.

Twist your hips and body around the axis of your spine, instead of using your torso moving down to start the downswing. You want to maintain your spine angle throughout the swing.

  6. The best recipe against ducking is actually to duck more, hear me out. You lift your head up in the backswing. To get back to the ball in the downswing you start “ducking” in order to make up for the head lifting in the backswing. So the solution is to not lift the head in the backswing. Actually you even want to feel like your head drops a little in the backswing and lifts a little through impact.

Remember, you are rotating your hips, not your back.
