Wish I had one of those drivers but yeah the price is too high these days 😊 going out for my last round of the year today here in Calgary😢
Its Ping. They have intense limits on their pricing. The family has very strong feelings about inherent value based on available pricing, this usually happens on the years before new drivers.
It’s a combo of both companies. Ping and Titleist are very, very stringent on the pricing of their equipment and they tell the retailers when and what prices are to be listed on their product. And, Dicks/Golf Galaxy are always working on making sure the price signs are correct and updated on a daily basis. It does get confusing with all the pricing. But, as a customer I’d always ask an associate to scan the tag on the specific club I want. And that way the correct price will be used for the club.

Isn't it a 425 max VS 430 non-max? The max drivers always cost a little more, so it makes sense that the 425 max discounted costs the same as a regular 430 driver, right?
Just a joke, but used, then find the shaft that works for you.
I think it's important to point out the retailers have 0 say in the pricing. For all brands, it's controlled by the manufacturer. Ping has not dropped the price on G425 since Q1 2023, and likely won't since inventory is basically gone.
Depends on who’s hitting the max, not everybody needs the max makes sense
Is top Flight from Dicks at 279 any good? Complete set btw. Thinking on buying my first new set but not sure
