It’s not the golfer, it’s your swing that is terrible! I’m no pro and I hit the gt3 very well!
I have a GT3 coming, now I’m kind of worried lol. I prefer Titleist drivers over Taylormade and currently play the TSR2, which I spin like crazy, hopefully less spin from the GT3 will help. Handicap 11
Im a 4 handicap playing a tsr3. It is very much a risk/reward type of driver.
I dialled in a Qi10 standard, 9 degree and a 11 degree GT3 and got similar results. It is possible to dial in most clubs these days IF you've access to an array of lofts , shafts weight kits. But no doubt some drivers fit certain players easier off the shelf then others. The GT1 meybe an easier fit for the masses if they really what a Titleist. Good thing about Titleist is the 2 year cycle, TM particularly are good at telling you the flaws of their own last Gen model when promoting their new clubs.
Just got my GT2 2 weeks ago and love it. I am around a 11 handicap been playing for a little over a year now. Played the Taylormade qi 10 ls then moved to the Taylormade qi 10 core. The gt 2 is it out performing both. Love it. My miss hit is on the toe and it does great. Don’t give me wrong. I love the Taylormade qi10 core driver but the gt2 is just a little better
You guys should do a jumbo grip review. I’m curious how the results would be with Tate’s draw
Haven’t hit the GT’s yet, but after breaking my Stealth 2 on my 3rd round can’t put trust in the Taylormade. Made a switch this season to the TSR3 and am hitting 20 yards further than any other driver I looked at.Titlest drivers are really nice!
Great review guys. I appreciate your honesty and candid opinions
I’m a 9 handicap. Went to an actual Titleist fitter. Got fitted into GT2 and it is just about the easiest and most forgiving driver I’ve ever hit. It’s fantastic for all levels of handicaps. This idea of it’s only good for low handicappers or Pro’s is laughable.
6 handicap, play thw TR3 and just love that thing….not leaving the bag anitime soon.
Moved into the Ping G430Max10k and will never look back. I have never hit as solid a driver as this.
One of the best review channels for us normal average golfers, thank y'all. As much as I love and prefer the looks of the Titleist drives, even had the TSi3, they just don't fit my game. Hence why fitting is important, especially getting the right shaft and head combo. I'm in the Ai Smoke w/Ventus TR Blue 5S, and though still struggle with driver it gives me the best overall numbers and performance. I agree that Titleist may not be great for average golfers but with the right fitting they still can be great for that specific golfer.
Can't wait for the next vid, keep up the awesome work.
Love the content you show the true side to these clubs for us high to mid handcappers 👍
Geez, cut the boys some slack. Not many of us don't need some swing work, and until we're all Hogan clones, we need to find the clubs that help us the most from sucking the most. If that's a Cleveland (for example), so be it.
You should have let the master fitter fit you into a better shaft. Just a thought…
Great review guys! I’m going to be vacationing to Denver in a month and a half. Looking to possibly move there next spring. What’s a good course you guys recommend there?
I'm gonna try the GT1 when it comes out Q1 2025
This is the most overrated driver out there. OEMs aren't selling them and no one is asking for it. Only green grass old PGA guys are having success.
Being a 12 handicap these videos help me so much before getting a fitting for a branded club !! Keep the good work up
The worst review of any clubs I've seen. " I can't ne bothered to change the weight because it's hard". No it isn't hard.
Literally just bought the gt3 two days ago. Maybe it just fits me but I'm stroking it. The numbers and consistency were even close with the 2 and 4. Plus the way the gt3 pops off the face….. ahhh it's bliss.
Stopped by your store this weekend. Picked up some merch. It was cool to see your shop in person. Was there for the weekend. Came down from Idaho.
nice video – it's interesting I hit the GT4 best and I'm a 16. Must have had a lucky day
I think ya'll just had a bad session. Looking at the stats, you guys had a negative attack angle on most of your swings which would completely eliminate spin, deloft your club, and cause you guys to crown hit the crown. Even if you centered the face the ball is gonna come out hot and just nose dive. I think if you get a good session in, I think the GT2 would be perfect.
There is no way the one guy is a single digit and the other is a 13. I am a 12 and just got the gt played it today and it’s not hard at all to hit and it’s the same at my g430 10k. I would love a vlog of an actual round with these 2 and see they shoot what they actually say they can from their handicap because there is no way they are what they say they are. I like to watch them though because they are the normal everyday golfer unlike all the other reviewers.
Titleist #51, Ping #34, Callaway #27, Taylor Made #26, Srixon #4, Mizuno #3, PXG #2, Cobra #2, Krank #1
This was hard to watch. Those handicaps may be fluffed lol
I’m a 10 and full bag Titleist. 150’s Tsr3 sm10 and Scotty. Nothing else has even come close to helping my game as much as my clubs. To each his own
Wonder why the “not a titleist dealer” guys didn’t like these lol 🤦♂️ these drivers are so forgiving and easy to hit. High, low, mid handicap players. This is just bias to sell more of what they sell, just bad. I’m not even going to go into all the false things mentioned in this video, really need to do some fact checking before just saying random stuff. Sucks because a lot of people probably look to you from an actual quality info. This is not a driver only for low handicap players, period lol
I really disagree with you that Titleist is only for good golfers. I have 7 and love my GT3 hit it high with soft draw about 40 yards further than my older TSI 3. But as all lower spin clubs is the strike is key. Regardless of brand.
Nobody will buy a Titleist driver after watching THIS video, that’s for sure. 😂
I'm a 9.8 index and have just bought the GT2 set at 9 deg and I have gained 10 yds over my Ping 430 LST so I would say a Mid handicapper should try them. I took it up the range today and my Ball speed has increased by 7mph over the Ping
I am not sure what you were doing – the Titleist Surefit loft sleeve only lofts up by 0.75º or 1.5º so there is no way to loft up by 2º. The weights on the GT4 can be inverted to make it more like the GT2, and how about messing around with the shaft? In my fitting, I ended up in a shaft that I never thought I would be in and went from a 10º TSr3 to a 9º GT2. Fitting is the key and I do not think Titleist would say fitting means two guys just randomly hitting their drivers and changing settings blindly. Angle of attack is missing in your summary – that and the shaft will have a big piece of the puzzle as to why you hit the clubs like you did.Titleist is made to be fit. I hit the GT3 way worse than the GT2 because of the spin of the head. We played around with shafts and things locked in, pretty obviously. I would totally disagree with your statement that the clubs are made for very good players. That is a true statement, but they are not made for ONLY very good players, that is my disagreement.
dude this is my new favorite channel .. just dont get any better so we can relate to you guys and give us a more accurate data 😂.
Talk more about high handicap!!!!
I've always had difficulty locking in on the titleist drivers. I went from a 21 hcp 4 years ago to a 13 this year. Ive had the M6, set to 11°, with hzrdus smoke rdx 65g stiff flex.. and my lauch angle is still 16°… and i still hit around 245 carry( 46 yrs old, 101mph swing speed). This review kind of confirms that i should stay with what is working. Best, most objective review ive seen of this driver yet.. thanks guys.
You guys are so right! The equipment's has to match up with your Level of play not the brand name.
