imagine a line coming backwards out of the center of the ball. you don’t ever want your clubhead to cross that line.

I have this problem. What worked for me is to pretend the “imaginary line” is actually coming out of the bottom of my club. (Like putting a Tee in the hole in the bottom of your grip) I try to point this ”laser beam” coming from the bottom of my club directly at the golf ball during my down swing.

Drill: Feet 6 inches apart, take your backswing, to start your Downswing, take a step with your left foot down the line into your normal setup.
