Perks of a country club: Walking 18 holes in 2 hours

Went to play 9 today, course was empty and I was even through 9, had to see how it was going to end up. Managed to only hit 7 greens, and had 4 up and downs from the bunkers.

I always walk but 2 hours is SERIOUSLY quick for walking- less than 7 minutes per hole! Good work! Great scoring too 👏🏼

6200 from the black tees? Pretty short, no? Seems like a great walking course.

Played 9 during a lunch break today. Really has been worth every penny.

My wife and I golf. We were members at CC, $310/month when we left. Joined a much more expensive club. It’s called kindercare. No discount for double membership. 10x the cost.

I live near Millcreek. Can I play with you lol.

Helps to be good and only need 75 shots lol

I have to say walking 18 in 2 hours is unbelievably impressive. That’s about 1.7 mph of you never stopped to play or take a swing. And that doesn’t include green to tee distance. Impressive!

This isn’t a “time” post, this is a money and score flex post

That is very boring golf! Without 7s or 8s you aren’t testing all your skills!!

I’ve had 4 birdies and shot an 82. I’d much rather have “boring” golf like this. Nice round OP.

My grandfather was a member there! I never had the chance to play; he passed away when I was 9. But I have fond memories of birthday dinners and other family occasions at the club. Had drinks with grandma on the back patio a few times when I got older. Great grounds!

Two hours is quick. I carried 18 in 1:56 not long ago.

How fast were you running? First tee time of the day? You seem like the golfer the grounds crew has punchlines about

Been wanting to check out a country club. I’m assuming this is Everett WA, would you suggest this club or another?

  15. Substantial-Skill-76

Yeah. Every week. Just walking it would take 2 hours.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel rushed just looking at this?…

  17. WhatWouldJordyDo

It helps to play a quick round when you aren’t hacking away

Curious if you don’t mind answering what the initiation fee is and yearly dues? I’m in Seattle and curious about the membership. 2 hour walk round sounds lovely.

Where do you play that your course is so empty as to make this possible? Our course is literally booked from the first times until well into the late afternoon. There is no way you’d ever play that fast here. Lucky you.

Take this down right now. We can’t let this get out to the wives….

Ooooh I live in Everett and have wanted to play Everett CC. How is it?

I love Everett. I teach a member there who is a former club president and my wife and I came up and played it a few times this summer. 16 is probably the narrowest tee shot I’ve ever seen

  23. Sesemebun

How much roughly is the fee at Everett? I used to belong to Fairwood and it was actually decently possible to “recoup” your fee by playing, is Everett the same?

Just got a quick 9 in a hour 15. And now northern lights. Gotta love Minnesota!

Man, and I thought my 3 hours flat was quick 🤯🤯 I’m sure if I wasn’t a 29 handicap at the time, I probably would’ve cut off another hour lol

This dudes up and down game must be phenomenal
