Wanting more than anything to swing like Freddie

Couples and Ernie have always been idols. After herniating a lower disc in my back, I've needed to change my swing drastically in the hopes I'll play into my senior years

My swing thoughts are dropping the hands to start downswing, and try to keep a closed face (this video would show otherwise, poor example) as well as using a number system like Vijay, saying in my swing "62" slowly to keep tempo

Anyone able to move me in the right direction to bring that path back to In to Out?

Last thing I want is to have 100 swing thoughts, I swing and hit best when keeping to one routine!

Hope someone can help

*keyboard warriors… Please.. Give me a break after injury?

You need to setup with your feet more open. Fire your hips sooner. Finish with your hands higher. Start collecting Mustangs and ex-wives.

You look like you are standing too close to the ball

  3. You nailed the foot flip. Looks just like him.

You’re making what I like to call a “fake backswing” you pull your arms across your chest to get the club to the top of the swing. Your chest/shoulders barely turn. Because you have such low chest/shoulder turn in the backswing, your lower body/hips has no chance to shift/rotate early enough to generate any power before.

Make a shoulder turn, let the hands float for a quarter second at the top so your hips have time to generate some lag
