Dan Patrick: The Jets Struggles Are On Aaron Rodgers | 10/9/24
Dan Patrick reacts to the New York Jets firing their head coach Robert Saleh yesterday and discusses why he ultimately lays the blame for the Jets struggles this season on quarterback Aaron Rodgers
This is really sad. Retire Patrick, please. The buck stops with the HC. Look at the OL, it has to be the worst in the NFL. Does Rodgers have to play their position as well? Not only can the OL NOT keep him from being sacked 9 times, the scumbags can't be bothered to go give the guy a hand up off the ground. What a typical New York media pansy ass take.
Protocol when fired is either escorted or at least observed until you leave the property. Woody made a deal with the devil. Good luck with that. No disrespect here but Paulie is wrong. Its NEVER a good idea to fire your coach mid-season
After the Mike McCarthy saga in 2018 and now Saleh, with Rodgers, Some things – like having the head coach you publicly criticize get fired in the middle of the season – just happen. Sometimes they happen more than once. Sometimes they happen in the exact same fashion. That doesn't mean they're "similar." I mean, who hasn't gotten their boss fired twice in seven years?
When was the last time you had thought about the jets out coaching the opponent ? How many times did that happen over the last 4 seasons ? I get the argument but was he actually the DC ? No but he was actually heading the whole coaching staff
While a ton of blame should be put on Rodgers, dysfunctional teams are always caused by the owners. It starts at the top. They’ve been a mess for almost 2 decades and decades before that. That’s not just being unlucky with a bunch of bad QBs and coaches cmon. It’s all on the ownership

When was the last time Security put a QuarterBack into a FULL NELSON hold, and escorted out of the Building ?
This is one subject DP can't be objective on. it's obvious he hates Aaron
Rodgers is a petulant little boy
Love to see the Jets hire Bill Belichick only to have Bill, one day later, writing the following note on a napkin….”I resign as HC of the NYJ….again”.
Rodgers had something to do with this, but bottom line was Sahel sucked

Easily win 11 games?
The o line sucks how's that Rodgers fault? Cnt even get 1 fnn yard on the goal line
How do you not put Joe Douglas on the list of people responsible for this mess?
Rogers at this point in his career aint worth the headaches he causes.

Don’t worry
I’m sure it’s all Mike mccarthy’s fault

The audacity of Dan Patrick. “I think that Saleh did his job.” How can one speak so confidently on this when he’s never even been in the building?!!!

Rodgers is shot AND disruptive. Saleh probably wasn't ready and may never be, but he looked good from the sideline in SF.
Call Jerry Jones take McCarthy and give Dallas $750 towards Belichick or VrAble. Bring The Band Back
