Travis Hunter on “Bland” comment, Deion Sanders relationship, Colorado & NFL Draft | Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman interviews University of Colorado star and 2025 NFL Draft prospect Travis Hunter. Richard made headlines discussing Hunter’s two-way skillset on Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown’s podcast, and the two clear the air about what Sherm was trying to say about Hunter. The two go on to discuss the Heisman Trophy favorite’s relationship with Colorado coach and NFL legend Deion Sanders, the move from Jackson State to Colorado, Travis getting challenged by his quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the world of NIL and social media for star college athletes, his injury last year against Colorado State, being the presumptive No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and Heisman Trophy favorite, and the question on everyone’s minds: will Travis play both wide receiver AND cornerback in the NFL?

  1. I wish it was longer! The mutual respect was so apparent! I love watching a vet willing encourage and share information, and I love when a younger phenom is humble enough to accept the feedback. This was beautiful to witness. Great job!

  2. Can someone like him can just negotiate with a team he likes, and basically walk in and sign a contract? I’m not saying he should, but is that against nfl rules, or has that happened?

  3. Ok Sherman I can let you get back in good grace… lol we the people of the internet care about Travis he is such a good humble guy!!! Tuning in from Georgia

  4. Refreshing especially for young generation. Brah is focused and God Fearing. He can't lose

  5. Great for you BOTH to have cleared up what wasn't the case in the first place. I love to see Sherm doing all he can to elevate and mentor these young men. Like he says, they're already doing well but to have a smart experienced man whose walked ahead of them share his knowledge and love is such a gift to get to see. Job well done to you both (and to Travis' fiance too).

  6. Great conversation I covered the comment on my channel and it was easy to see that people did not listen and took your words out of context, but its honorable that you still took the time to clear the air and provide game to the future nfl star.

  7. Sherm, enjoyed when TNF showed you going at with other former/current players when you are dressed up on the sidelines. Fun watch, you should have a segment.
