There are bunch of rangefinders on there that work just as well and are under 70$.
If you want it to say Callaway go for it, if you care about distance and bang for buck get one of the China ones

don’t pay more than $100 for a rangefinder. You can find used ones on ebay or facebook marketplace for dirt cheap that still work great. I got a precision pro nx9 a few months ago for $40 on ebay.

I bought a $80 hunting finder from Amazon. Has a rechargeable lithium battery. Just as accurate as a Bushnell.

any reason you need the rangefinder over a GPS? plz don’t bash i’m generally curious why some prefer a rangefinder? maybe my skill isn’t at that level, it just seems like the GPS work quicker.

Using the red tiger I got for sale 50$. Haven’t owned the expensive ones but used other peoples. I don’t see why the extra $$$ is worth a difference unless you get the ones with auto stabilization.

I got the cheapest one I could find on Amazon for like $40. Works fine. No need to spend up. Tested the distance and slope on more expensive models my playing partners have and it’s accurate

Ive bought the cheap ones people talk about on here. Id say go with this Callaway range finder. Sure its more expensive but it gives more accurate results. It also give you the distance quicker when you hit the button vs a cheap one. The cheap one I used I had to replace the batteries often but the Callaway has been work great all season on the same battery. Last thing, my cheap amazon one would not give correct distance once it got cooler out. It would give 15 yards when I was on my approach from the fairway.

Picked up a RedTiger last week for $76 (lower than what I’ve seen today during Prime Big Deal Days). I generally use my 18Birdies app and at this price point I’m happy introduce a rangefinder to my accessories.
In addition to use on the course, I plan to use it at the range to work on specific distances. My range is elevated so need the slope adjustment to determine how far a ball goes.

It will never get old the number of people I see pulling out a range finder while standing just yards from a marker. Inevitably the same person takes forever to select a club and falls 20 yards short. My point is i don’t see these helping most people’s games.

My $70 range finder is about 3% off from my friends $300 range finder.
My shot is not within 3% consistency. I could read 150 yards and hit between 120-170 yards. (Let’s be honest, on a good day!)
Just buy the cheap one.

A lot of people on here are saying to just buy the cheap rangefinders. In my experience it’s not worth it as both have just quit working on me. I currently have the Callaway and it has been great for 2 years.

It’s the best rangefinder out there. Compact. Excellent laser properties and small enough to fit in your pocket. Magnetic too. Only con I see if that because it’s magnetic I sometimes leave it on the cart roof stanchion. It’s that convenient. Make sure to put your name and phone number in hours. Excellent range finder. I have 2 that I bought off eBay used because I liked my first one so much. Best rangefinder out there.

I’d get the callaway over all of the really cheap ones. The callaway one still looks and feels like a premium rangefinder.
The really cheap ones feel terrible and will likely break quickly.
