Nate Tice and Charles McDonald join forces to preview the best, most interesting and sloppiest matchups ahead of Week 4 of NFL action. The duo start with in-depth previews of the three premiere matchups as they attempt to determine if Geno Smith can keep his hot streak alive against a dangerous Detroit Lions defense, if the Green Bay Packers defense can start catching some of Sam Darnold’s inaccurate throws and whether or not the Baltimore Ravens D can stop a humming Buffalo team that hasn’t been slowed down yet this season.
Next, Nate and Charles enter Four-Minute Offense to analyze a couple key matchups to keep an eye on, including a hoss fight in Indianapolis and Jalen Hurts against a Tampa Bay defense that’s given him fits in the past.
The hosts wrap up with “Slop Watch,” where they give you a reason to watch a game you might otherwise turn off, including a chess match in Chicago, the Arizona Cardinals trying to stop Jayden Daniels and a New England Patriots team that just might have the juice to keep it close against the San Francisco 49ers.

All the Bill fans have assured me that they can't lose.
49s are fuuny. Played gb and went " you know what we need. Their starting lb."
Never thought Yahoo sports knew their stuff. As a hawks fan you guys nailed it with the Lions matchup, much better than a lot of mainstream sports media.
Steelers have the toughest end of season schedule imaginable. Home vs Ravens, 4 days later at Browns, at Bengals, home vs Browns, At Eagles, 6 days later at Ravens, 5 days later home vs Chiefs then finish home bengals.
To insinuate Mike Tomlin wanted this schedule all with a week 9 bye before any divisional game is absurd. Those are all the most physical games one after another it;s an awful schedule and terrible game making with short weeks.
Imagine thinking the bucs were good?
The Steelers are actually starting nick herbig across from tj not leal
Middle of the pack, pun intended…
NATE
Amazing show thank you
Can you also cover coordinator match ups
I love that people are starting to recognize how well Geno is playing
Lions haven't allowed a running back to eclipse 70 yards since the Panthers road loss on icy field in late 2022. Elite AF.
