The Fozcast LIVE at Wrexham with Stars, James McClean, Elliot Lee and a Special Guest!

The first Fozcast Live of the year and we absolutely loved it!

On today’s episode, we are in Wrexham at the William Aston Hall for a special show and we’re joined by current stars Elliot Lee, James McClean and kit man Iwan Pugh! We talked everything Wrexham, including some behind the scenes access which you may have not have heard before. Elliot and James talk about the time Hugh Jackman walked into the dressing room and surprised the players, James’ passion for football boots and that very famous penalty save against Notts County…

Thank you to everyone who came down to watch us live, the atmosphere in the crowd was great! We are looking to do more Fozcast lives in the future so let us know where you want us to go…

Another massive thank you to Creative Futures at Wrexham University for filming the event for us! Check them out below!

  1. Was there with my two sons and a nice birthday treat from my boys enjoyed it great evening 👏

  2. This is coming from a Liverpool fan since the mid 90's, who keeps an eye on the lower leagues. Wrexham is a great story of devotion and resurrection, and Wrexham is an example of how teams should be operated and managed. Thanks, Fozzy. That penalty save will be for all time a great Wrexham moment. You helped Wrexham get out of the National League. That special football magic you generated throughout your career will be forever known the world over with that save. Lee and James and so many others are helping in so many ways as well. Again, many thanks to all for such a special football story.

  3. I love all these guys so much! Thanks for coming back to Wrexham, Ben, both for the promotion season and for this live pod. Loved hearing from Iwan, fresh perspective. (LOL, there was some tea spilling.)

  4. I was fortunate enough to be over from NYC for this and it was fantastic!

I bet Fozzie does one of these in Wrexham again soon, the hall was packed!

  5. What a treat !!!! Thanks, Fozzy, for this awesome conversation and to James and Elliot ! Keep it going, lads, we can achieve wonders if we keep working hard! GO WREXHAM

  6. Ben – different topic.. was the Notts county baby boom a true event… and have there been any others.. promotion to league one.. or is that too soon?

  7. Wrexham fan from the Philippines 🇵🇭 Totally enjoyed watching this when it dropped on spotify. What a great interview Ben Foster, Elliot Lee and James McClean. Their love for the club trully comes across. Hope @fozcast do this more often with the other Wrexham players. Goodluck in this ongoing season! Go Wrexham! ⚽️🐉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

  8. Great show. I was watching the notts game live in new zealand. The emotion amd energy came right through the telly. What a day

  9. Blues fan, good to see you doing well Ben, still grateful for your part in our Wembley triumph and a pity you only had the one season with us. Great game Blues against Wrexham, absolutely the best atmosphere down at St Andrews for years for me. Wrexham rattled us early on for sure and played well we just overpowered them on the night. Genuinely hope both clubs can move up together, both of us are getting a lot of attention not all of it gracious. Quite funny watching James get wound up and return the favour with our fans, great catch by the way. See what the return fixture brings, hopefully we’ll be well clear by then but if I’d got to pick someone to follow us in second it would be Wrexham KRO

  10. That Notts county game, it was like someone took out my adrenal glands, sucked them dry, then wrong them out, threw them in a dehydrator, then stuck them out into the sun before finally putting them back in. I was exhausted, I had a final to study for and I couldn’t concentrate afterwards, and then I realized, we still had another game!!!! What a match!!!!

  11. A huge thanks to the incredible Ben Foster for letting me (Pete) film this on behalf of Wrexham University's Creative Media team. What an unforgettable night it was—here's to many more!
