In the past the 1st was a par 5 and that’s exactly how I play it.
You know what I like most about you Dan, you're always happy to see other people play well even if it's the competition. You're a dying breed because I play with people who get really annoyed and ruins their day when I play well…🙄 Like yourself I just love to see good golf even if I'm playing bad myself 👍
Great vlog Dan, I really enjoy the breakdown of the shot plan prior to the shot, I can almost close my eyes and see the shot with your/Joes description before the shot is even taken. Something I can take to the course and do internally before taking my shot.

Completely agree on scoring, best rounds 67 (4 under) and 69 ( 3 under), but those happened after 9 and then 3 holes before the end, so just holding on last holes, the 4 under I was there after 9 holes so it was holding on for 9 holes (0 on those) and shitting myself, the other one was a bit easier, 3 holes to go but very stressful (minus 4, then bogey on a crappy par 3, then two pars). Many rounds around or slightly under par but the ones where you’re big under are hard to manage. Been scratch or close to for 20 years, but even for scratch golfers they don’t happen very often. And you see how good these proper pros/scratch are, not the same level.
