I bought the Best HYBRID / RESCUE Club ever made!

I’ve bought, in my opinion, the BEST Players Hybrid to be ever made for £30.

This is a series where we build a bag of golf clubs with all our favourites of all time, buying those classic oldie but goodie clubs we wish we could have had back in the day!

Hybrids are great golf clubs for all levels of golfers but especially mid and high handicap golfers, as they are often very forgiving and much easier to hit than a long iron, such as a 3 or 4 iron. The hybrid in this video is incredibly forgiving and perfect for any level of golfers, but especially mid and high handicap golfers, who may struggle to hit low irons as far when compared to a hybrid.

Our challenge is to play the front 9 in 30 SHOTS, playing a Texas Scramble Format.

Come and join us to see what oldie but goodie clubs are going in the bag this week, and to see if we can play the front 9 at Silkstone Golf Club in 30 SHOTS!

I first came across them around 2000 when DD (David Duvall) one of my favourite players at the time was using them.
GEA and GolfWeb Forum members were crazy fan boys about them. I believe the parent company was Royal Collection who were Ultra Premiem in the Japanese market…which includes the likes of Epon, Muira, Endo so absolutely top end.
They were fantastic, I had the MD myself with an iRod shaft in it…lent it to a mate and it never came back 🤔🤔🤔
I'm enjoying this looking back at these old school clubs, thank you 👍
The putter…I think Arnie is possibly the most famous to use that 8802 style putter. He certainly was the reason Yonex did the first one for Phil when he was at ASU 👍
