Insane Deal and Generosity

Hi Everyone,

Enclosure/Projector:
I recently upgraded my sim to an inside sim after dealing with the AZ heat too much. I started looking on FB marketplace and found someone with a sig12 enclosure, sigpro softy 4×10 mat, side safety nets (not installed), sigpro 12 landing pad, and Panasonic PT-VZ580U. He also had a GCQuad that I didn't need. He was looking to get rid of the whole package but I asked how much for everything without the launch monitor…. $3k… I couldn't believe it. I feel like I got the deal of the century!

Launch Monitor:
I paired this with the EML that I got on sale for $2200.

Gaming PC:
Lastly, the computer I built. /U/CryptoPutz was generous enough to give me a 3060ti to jump start my sim PC. I paired it with a Newegg bundle for $270 which came with a mobo, 5700x3d, 16gb ram, and 1 TB nvme. I then bought a cooler, case, and PSU. Total for the PC build was $480. I had an extra mouse and keyboard sitting around.

Misc:
I did buy a cheap shelf to put everything on. Was $70 for the shelf and mounting hardware. I also bought 3 2inch thick insulation foam boards to even out my hitting mat to the landing pads. I had the extra cables.

Future Upgrades/Challenges:
-My garage still gets pretty hot in the summer heat. I would love to have a mini split but I was told I need a 3ton unit which will be pricey. Plus the install doesn't sound fun in 105 degree weather.
– I need to park my cars in the garage still. Moving the matt is easy enough but the landing pads are hard to keep together and move as a unit. I would love to make a box/border for them so I can move them as a unit after I'm done playing. The cars will then fit.

Huge thank you again to CryptoPutz. He really helped kickoff the PC build. Also huge shoutout to the FB marketplace seller. Unsure if he is lurking here but you rock man. Happy greens! If anyone ever wants to play some GSPro courses (scrambles of match play) then I'd love to! I am awful and pretty new to golf so I prefer scrambles right now but enjoy playing regardless!

I meant to add a piece breakdown but here it is:
Enclosure, hitting matt, and projector – $3k
    PC – $470
    Launch monitor – $2200
Misc (shelf and insulation board) – $220
    Total: $5890

Side question: I tried using an android TV box to wirelessly cast from my PC to the projector but the android TV box can’t to 4:3. How do people accomplish 4:3 by casting?
