  1. Agree with most of what Rolf is saying. But I will say the pga tour (and dp) are losing fans to the grave.
I’m sorry but the ‘innovation’ of Walk and talks are not going to excite the young people.
And then making people feel like watching liv golf is some sort of sin doesn’t help the sport grow its next generation of fans either.
The Ryder cup needs all the best. The majors need all the best. We need a fun international tour like LIv, but with ALL the true stars.
We need everyone on LIv to be able to go back to regular events. The pga tour needs to drop its number of required events substantially. Liv needs to have just 12 events instead of 14. So guys can play other things and still have a life; which the players now know they CAN have a life.
My case/solution continues to be the same since this saga started. Work together to make this plan happen. If I ever hear anything better I’m glad to change my mind.

  2. Men’s elite golf has become irrelevant. A stasis has set in that makes the PGA Tour and LIV uninteresting; neither tour is compelling. Is this really what leadership wants? The cynic in me fears golf has gone over the precipice and will not be able to recover, regardless of any agreement between the PIF and PGA Tour.
