Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy led TGL to release documentary days ahead of inaugural season
The Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy TGL Golf League is less than 100 days away. The league will kick off its inaugural season on 7 January 2025, but a few days before, a documentary series will launch about one of its six teams.
It’s Boston Common Golf, the first of the teams to have a full roster at the start of the league. The documentary series about the team will have five episodes and be released in December 2024.
The trailer for the documentary series suggests that it will provide details on how both the league and Boston Common Golf came into being.
The documentary is produced by Comcast Business, and it appears that team captain Rory McIlroy will lead the series.
Major champions Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama, and Keegan Bradley complete the Boston Common Golf roster. Tyrrell Hatton was originally part of the team but was dropped when he signed with LIV Golf.
