I found the three on three in the Olympics to be totally unwatchable, and that was with men playing. A rival 5 on 5 league might be interesting, but I don't care for the 3 on 3 format. Sure, it sounds like fun and when we were in our teens and twenties we went to the park and played that game for money (well, three dollars per game, paid on the handshake at the end). But after years of watching real basketball, there is not way I would stoop to watching that.
Not shockingly, one person is “me me me” and the other is silent but does for everyone else. The WNBA season ended when Caitlin and the fever got eliminated. Also, if it is so racist and you don’t want the fans give them back their money. I’m saying this as a black man.
Any manager who says “No” to their employee’s request is just plain lazy. Because … if the manager said “Yes”, then they’d have to actually do something.
The challenge for CC is to not let the toxic aspect of the WNBA change her as a person. She is not selfish, she spreads the credit around her team, the WNBA players have benefited from charter flights instead of commercial flights, she is elevating the WNBA to a whole other level with ticket sales and merchandise sales CC isn’t going anywhere so whoever can’t deal with it should just leave the WNBA because next season CC will be the MVP!
Clark is setting the standard and will raise up a new generation of young women athletes who will model after her for the betterment of the league. She should give up all expectations of these current players ever changing and accepting her bc they are blinded and fueled with hate. I hope Clark realizes this and continues being an example to these young women. These current players aren’t gonna change and I don’t wanna see Clark invest in them as if they will and get let down.
