Over a few holes at the beautiful Frilford Heath Golf Club, we delve into his passion for golf that he developed from an early age, which lead him to becoming a +1 handicap post his stellar tennis career. He also discusses his passion for getting kids into sport and nurturing their talent, developing their pathway into pro tennis, and his Tim Henman Foundation, a youth charity with the mission of transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people by creating sporting and educational opportunities as well as improving mental and physical health together with our partners.

  1. I had the dubious pleasure of being dismantled on court by Tim when he was a junior and I was a lta coach , he was lovely guy then and nothing has changed. I reckon I could give him a good run for his money on a golf course though!

  2. Played this course with a member back in the 90s. Red and Green were challenging for a newish golfer at the time and the “new” blue course a little longer. Beautiful place, good memories.

  3. The only thing hard about the current world is the lack of discipline to say no, not reading that, not watching that, not posting on that. Problem is that by the time potentially elite sportsmen and women get to have to worry about it they are already poisoned and psychologically damaged by it. Make no mistake, mobile device overuse and social media use (almost at all) is damaging the human brain. The old crusties amongst us never had to suffer at a fundamental level because reading a newspaper isn't of itself harmful, using a mobile is.
