Guys were dredging the pond today for balls and came across this Dunlop ball from the 1920s that must have been uncovered by the flood a month ago.
Some similar ones in better shape are being listed for around $250 not that I’d ever sell it. Maybe I’ll play a round with it and compare it to the left dash.
im no expert but they do make reproduction golf balls these days for hickory leagues and such. McIntyre makes one with square dimples like this. Just … not really looking 100 years old rotting in water, but maybe ?

It has cut marks from being thinned on the opposite side. We don’t have any hickory leagues or anything of the sort. Course has been around since the 60s. One of the early golfers must have had his grandpas old set and lost it ball back then.
