I golfed a lot as a kid, up til my teens when I got into hockey and baseball. Played occasionally in college and got into it once life settled down. After years of hovering around mid-low 80s, I shot a 77 (par 71). Shout out to this subreddit, my wife who golfs with me all the time, and my dad and grandpa who taught me.

I broke 80 for the first time this weekend as well. 13.6 hcp and previous best 82. Congrats man! I didn’t expect to be as happy as I am about it.
