  1. Fun match but the amount of swearing the pro does in front of his kids is absolutely disgusting and does not set a good example

  2. Great finish. Even missing a couple short putts, great job on giving all the money to the junior program. Everyone should get more involved with this

  3. This series is great and this guys is a legend for his junior golf passion. I just wish the mic didn't pick up him smacking his gum.. super annoying. I almost can't watch because of it.

  4. Great series, and James = great guy.
Two things always amaze me, when it comes to golf in Scotland, whether I played there myself or when I see videos like this:
    1) How quirky some of the holes on parkland courses are. I mean, links courses are links courses, you expect them to have some very unsual challenges, but hitting tee shots with short irons on par 4s on a non-links course is very unusual in most parts of the world.
    2) How much better I, as a non-native speaker, can understand people, who speak with a very distinct Scottisch accent than I can understand people from some parts of England, mainly the West and the North.

  5. The pro is the epitome and difference between good player and pro. He literally got it up and down from everywhere for the most part.

Nice guy, good crowd and great what they’re doing for kids. Well done Pete for a) supporting but b) shining a light all over this great stuff

  6. Played Dumfries and County & Dumfries and Galloway on a golf trip with my mates at the start of September. Would throughly recommend both courses. Great week in the borders.

  7. what a lovely chap. honestly our chemistry and banter was just so good. his remark about sam snead was so funny, hes just a natural in front of the camera it seems. he should get a channel of his own 😀
i would pay to see more videos with you two

  8. Great video Pete as always and FairPlay giving the money to the juniors we need them to keep this game going.

  9. Pete,
This series is better than any golf on TV. You and James have a great dynamic – Would love to see you and James take on another pair playing alternate shots…

  10. This was a great match. Considering Pete never played the course before and James’s classic mind games I think it was a fair result come the end. I think James forgot he was mic’d up at times which was hilarious 😂 top bloke and obviously very much loved and respected by everyone at the club. You could tell how much he wanted to beat the YouTuber which makes for a great series 👍

  11. Pete, this is just an idea but after seeing all those spectators following for 3-4 hours it would be nice to put a couple of young fans on camera and maybe say their names. It may be silly, but just a way to show them thanks. Just an idea…great game, cheers!

  12. Peter don't give up on those 5 foot gimme's cos the bit of needle they produce is tv gold. Brilliant series.

  13. Anyone thinking that if this pro had played against Rick Shiels they would have been having a pint after 10 holes???? . I do like Rick but this is different gravy!!!! 😅

  14. What a lovely set up and the emphasis on bringing the youngsters through. Peter at his finest interaction with those around him. What a gentleman James is. James needs to have his own YouTube channel. He’s ideal for the under 18s and Peter could help him.

  15. Hilarious on the 12th, James calls you a few choice names for making him putt, then proceeds to miss it😂😂😂

  16. 53:01 "dead sheep" … what is he actually saying? Love the the series and great match (this far at least) 🙂
