FUN

Went out for a mid afternoon 9….

And couldnt make myself stop at the turn. Ended up racing the sun for a personal best. From struggling to break 80 a year ago to within striking distance of par. Golf…

Good ol’ Woodley Lakes. First place I ever broke par. Good open, flat course to give you some confidence for sure.

You parred almost all the hard holes! Where is that?

If I was just +1 at the turn I wouldn’t stop either!

Is it me, or does everyone shoot PB’s when they go out alone???

    Congrats!

I had a day like that on my birthday this year (7/29). Shot 74, beat my PB by 5 (by 6 on that course).

Played a relatively “easy” course on a pristine, yet muggy day. Ball was flying well. Greens were true.

I was with three other buddies, one of whom is about a 5hcp. I’m a 13.3.

Everything was working, including some luck. Scrambled a ton on the back as I was getting tired.

Had a 4 footer for 73 on 18, missed it. My 5hcp buddy beat me by a stroke…

Queesntown Harbor, Lakes Course, Back tees (about 6600yards). 5 birdies (and a look at 3 more), 8 fairways, 10GIR, 28 putts….and all that with 2 penalties, on the same hole! (Scrambled for double almost blew me up).
