Updated swing – think I’m getting worse

Hi All.

I posted about 8 months ago, and tried to follow some of the guidance provided in here.

Here’s my original post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/golftips/comments/19eqtwz/high_handicapper_looking_to_stay_under_100_and/

I started getting a bit better and was consistently in the 90’s. But over the last few months I think I have become really inconsistent and well over 100 in a lot of cases. My putting and short game is not too bad. (Using a ChipR around the green which is pretty fool proof). I’m just really struggling with my irons. (And driver but I’m happy to keep that in the bag)

I really wanted to break 90 this year. Running out of time though.

Here’s the updated swing. I feel it looks a bit better, but not sure.

Any tips? YouTube/reels/anything that you guys would recommend now?

There is something u need to do for next step in your game, which is to clear your hips at impact. Right now, it’s closed and i can’t see your left butt cheek. Put pressure into your right foot right before u take your club back. That ensures pressure shift to your right. After takeaway, try to feel like u want to close the club face more with your wrist. That will help the club go in a more vertical plane. Your swing isn’t bad. Good luck!
