Thank you Carolin – excellent advice. I've been stuck on a mid-singles handicap for years and have developed the bad habit of coming around too much in my takeaway (as you demonstrated). As you know, swing changes are very hard to make, especially if you've ingrained the bad habits over a long time. I have been trying to shift my weight forward but without really understanding why (other than it's good to be about 60/40 front/back of feet). Now I understand the connection between weight distribution and takeaway path and may hopefully break out of my "rut"! Cheers and thank you from Sydney – David
Not sure about this? Shoulders must turn 90 degrees and you didn't show much turn at all. If you get the club to where it was and lift it up it will casue over the top too!! Not meant to be disrespectful at all I appreciate you views and i am no body
Awesome. It’s hard when bad things like weight movement happen and you don’t know it’s happening. I focus on fixing this and then it creeps back in, mostly because of lack of flexibility…..
