Look back at cantlays amateur career: he rarely wore hats.
He obviously wears a hat for sponsor reasons.
When it comes to the teams he is saying: I will wear hats that fit me; but not a bad hat that doesn’t fit me.
It’s really that simple imo.
I remember the Corey Pavon captaincy where he provided his team with horrible rain gear which may have cost them the win; amongst other reasons.
Guess it's hard to live on 10mil a year as it is. Each year the pro golfers are becoming more like footballers………jumped up gifted twats. Just play golf please. Ryder Cup is bigger than any one golfer. We love the comp, stop moaning…….
How cantley in the side when was the last time he won anything
I’m sure they could have gotten a hat that fit him. That’s such a weak argument for not wearing one to support your team. Frankly, I’m getting sick of these supper rich, spoiled brats, wanting to get paid every time they take a dump. Not all are that way, but few that are taint the tour. They are representing their country with an all expense paid trip with their family, they are treated like Royalty, and they want to get paid on top of that.
HATS and sunglasses are worn for sun protection. Pro golfers Not wearing a hat is dangerous, silly and stupid .
