Did he seriously steal the exact pic someone else took? I was gonna say who cares but he didn’t even use his own club for it?

I doubt that Rick himself posts any of that content, but it’s still under his name so he’s responsible. It’s sad what social media has become, just a bunch of recycled content.

Maybe an oversight on giving the user credit by the poster? I think he usually cites his sources.
Anywho, it’s unacceptable
Cheap_Ad_2994
What Reddit post did he steal?
Lurking_Albatross
Coulda been some Saudi content bot of some sort
Munch444
His Facebook content is INSUFFERABLE

“Credit to: _________” would save a lot of these content scalpers a lot of headaches.

I just spoke to Rick about this. No comment.

pretty run of the mill post. hit it dead square and the ball left a mark. post it on social media. not that uncommon type of post. or very interesting for that matter
They took and posted a picture from a post I made about a golf stand in this subreddit as well. Also posted without any credit. Seems fairly common from what I’ve seen in golf social media circles.

This literally happens all the time with influencers and content creators like Rick Shiels for example.
Nothing new for the internet, but disappointing nonetheless. I had a funny video of my dog on Reddit and some IG account put up on theirs and it had like 2 million views and they were using it to link to their merch store.

Daaaaaaamn Daniel. He sure did.

Usually I would say this is unacceptable. Reddit is an anonymous site. I don’t see the issue of him posting this photo. You want him to give credit to an anonymous user? I do not get why everyone is upset. Also the photo is a photo of a ball mark. Everyone relax
badabing_76
Don’t think anyone will believe that Rick made the mark anyway!

“Content theft” over a social media post? Who actually gives a shit.

I saw a 5 iron on display at the Nike store in Chicago, that belonged to Curtis Strange. There was a wear mark in the sweet spot, about the size of a dime, where the grooves had been worn down by contact in the same spot, over and over.
