How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 8 athletes competing in a 20 minute jam session with :30 second maximum runs. Athletes will take as many runs as possible within the 20 minutes. Best run counts, scored 1-100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.
Skateboard street is a style of skateboarding that takes place on a course simulating urban terrain using everyday objects such as curbs, stairs, handrails, benches and quarter pipes as obstacles. Skateboarders use these obstacles to perform a variety of tricks, grinds, and slides, often combining multiple maneuvers into a single trick. Skateboard street requires a high level of creativity, adaptability, and technical skill, as riders must be able to navigate the urban landscape and perform tricks with precision and control. Competitions in skateboard street involve riders performing a series of timed runs, with judges evaluating the difficulty, execution, and originality of their tricks.

Cordanos hardway 270 to board is absolutely diabolical. This was a WILDLY UNDERRATED and under appreciated stunt. This is a Tony Hawks Pro Skater Special move GTFOH.
I wish that we could watch the competition with full sound but without the commentary, because they talk too much and they ruin it for me. Just show the runs and the scores with the crowd interaction.

X games really need better announcers. They don’t know half the tricks. Hire some old pro skaters to commentate that know the tricks and difficulties of these tricks.

This was the most exciting best trick contest in a hot minute! I called Keyaki winning when i seen him on this list. Cordano is wild! Those young japanese stunners are so technical its like stuff we dreamed was possible but couldnt do it 20+ years ago before they were even born.
P.S. i thought the announcers did better than they have in the past.

The dead silence from the announcers when a nollie big heel back tail goes down was crazy… if it was woo they would have lost their minds. That always irritates me about commentators, they always put way too much favor into a few skaters.
