There’s a lot of things in the ACL going on that don’t make a whole lot of sense, either we’re seeing the start of something brand new and exciting or seeing the end of something. It’s hard to say.
ACO doesn't pay lower tiers either. Love your content Mike but lower tiers will walk away better now than they did before. The Pros/Elite will still win money and so will the top tier outside of Pro/Elite win cash and now that 2nd level tier won't have any pros in it which before this year Pros would be in the top two tiers.
It doesn’t make sense, but all the moves they’re making, seem to be pushing people away! Advanced players will either pay to be in elite or go to the ACO! And next year they’re downsizing the pro division, so that’ll push old pro’s to the ACO, or another league!! And now points are basically irrelevant , unless you’re pro/elite. Seems very discouraging to me!

Might just be me but it kinda seems the the one sided ways of ESPN are bleeding into ACL just because they feel they need or want the headlines. I’d like to see them not bend just for ESPN but do their own thing with the network that fits best .

I have said playing for prizes would help with the sand bagging. I think more average and below players will now play. That wouldn’t have played before.

You want more payouts for pros, but balk at them not paying the lower 2 tiers cash tk be able to do that
What do you suggest to achieve what you want from them?
Your issue with your level being competitive still is on you, not the ACL. If you don’t play their events, how do they know your level? So having to reach out to a director to correct it shouldn’t be a complaint
Love your content but you seem to just hate on the ACL constantly yet put zero effort into attending their events, which makes you seem more like a hater than sharing an experienced opinion
My guess would be that the ACL sees the lower levels as a money drain, and see the upper levels as where the money is, so they're trying to gently push those lower levels out the door.
I think we've seen peak cornhole, and peak ACL. We're seeing a lower rate of participation in local events (weekly blind draws and such) lately, and I think that's only going to get worse. It's gone from a reasonably priced backyard sport to something that is too highly priced for what it is (and yes, there are lower levels, but those lower levels are content to play with virtually indestructible duck cloth bags – so there's no bag churn, so there's no money).
We're approaching a reckoning for cornhole, and in particular for the ACL. I think it'll be a good thing overall.

The new plan absolutely sucks…will no longer play in acl opens/regionals…..will just play in my local blind draws….and honestly… I'm fine with that. In talking with many others at our local club there are many that feel the same way. The ACL can keep their trophies, caps, t-shirt's and boards. I have not held any acl hate in the past or the present… they have to do what they feel is right for them. I will do the same…..

Cornhole is the one true sport that has no male Vs female advantage. Why even have a separate womens category??? Cheyenne Bubbenheim can mix it with anyone

Question: so a senior player can not compete in senior division any longer if not a pro? So where does that leave seniors or those on their way to being senior age. Thank you
