I mean that really puts questions on the upper management that there spending big money on players who can’t even make the field for the biggest game of the year. Chad Townsend was benched during a semi-final by Flanno because he was flat. They then went on with Townsend to win the Grand Final, and Chad is still standing up for the Cowboys. Sometimes coaches have to be cruel to be kind. I remember Sterlo having a chat with Chad after the game. He lifted after that and admitted it was a combination of being benched and encouraged in that game. I felt sorry for him when he was moved on by the Sharks in favour of Hynes. 🇧🇼🦈🇪🇪
Hate to say it was Gus right needs to get into the grit and grind concentrate on defence not trying to win the game on every play, do the hard yards basic kick defence, play will come off that naturally

Cameron Smith is really well spoken. You can see why he was a good leader and really good with the refs, and not only that he has the best temperament of any sportsmen I have seen, which I think contributed to why he never got injured
Hes not a 7, kicking game is horrible and he lacks confidence. Put him at 6 with a proper 7 and let him play
