Ah, the Pinehurst ball. More resorts should logo all their retail balls imo. It’s a brilliant marketing strat

Even better…in my late teens I dated a girl who lived by the tee box of a par 5, her garden ran the length of the hole and nobody in their house played golf. She had a sister 10yrs younger than her and they’d have fun walking the garden, picking and then sorting the balls into enormous plastic crates by brand, but had no knowledge of what was good and what wasn’t… they’d let me help myself to hundreds at a time and 20+ yrs later I still have some of them!

Going over to hers I’d enjoy getting balls deep….in those plastic crates.

There’s a golf course near me which is surrounded by houses. Earlier this month as I approached the 12th tee there was a group of kids selling balls. I think it was $1 per ball. Unfortunately I didn’t have any cash on me so I couldn’t buy any.

Friend pulled like 12 Titleist balls from a beached whale once; thank god he was a marine biologist.

When I was a kid my neighbor had a yard sale and he had a 55 gallon drum full of balls. He had some kind of working relationship with a manufacturer and they were misprints, otherwise perfectly usable. 10 balls for $1 I went home and got a garbage bag and filled it.
