Presidents Cup Deep Dive | NLU Pod, Ep 902

Ahead of the 2024 Presidents Cup next week, Soly and KVV take us on another Deep Dive pod as we go back to the origins of the event and relive the first two renditions of the competition in 1994 and 1996. We also profile the epic 2003 tie in South Africa and the equally epic beatdown delivered by the Americans at Liberty National in 2017.

  1. These deep dives are so good and there’s just something about the Soly/KVV combo that makes it even better. I know these are a ton of work but it’s one of my favorite things they put out.

  2. The Presidents Cup also started when the Internationals had 7 of the top 16 players in the world and no where else to show off.

  3. Can we get KVV to narrate a Gary Player autobiography? The description of the Jack/Gary post playoff negotiations were fantastic

  4. Really love all these deep dives boys – keep 'em up! For reference, when you do 1998 – I found an old VHS tape at home with pretty good coverage, I converted it and put up.. This may help your research.. https://youtu.be/2RolFrlE9Qo?si=XBL60XStn9dA80M3 I was lucky enough to be there too.. The American fans won't like it – but we Aussies had a blast!!
