$1000 Golf Match With A Top Division 1 College Golfer from the University of Virginia!
I was determined to find the best golfer at this golf course and challenged them to a $1000 golf match. I wanted a 1 v 1, 18 hole match stroke play and I found a golfer who played at UVA. This was a crazy match with shocking ending! Can Gabbygolfgirl beat a division 1 golfer?

I'm curious as to what the USGA and the NCAA currently have as criteria of amateur status.
I realize that athletes have different rules now than years ago.
As little as 10 years ago Golf Pros like myself put tremendous effort into protecting the status of Junior Golfers.
At that time a match like this would have rendered both players permanently ineligible to play collegiate golf.
I do t think you need to splash the cash.
