  1. Dutch, my brother was the referee the night you talked about. I went to Troy's funeral. My Dad was a wrestler and Don Bass trained me.

  2. The thing with the schedules and bookings of those promotions is crazy. It seems like they saying: "Don't work harder, work smarter!" Does not just apply to individuals, but sometimes to entire companies! Just to go somewhere to fill a date makes no sense!

  3. Dirty Rhodes is a well-known legend in the Memphis Wrestling and international scenes. During his three world tours, he wrestled in many locations on the globe, including Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Barbados, and Pakistan. He is even a proud winner of the Crowbar Award, which is only given to five people in the business. His accolades include many titles, including:

    • 5-Time AWA World Champion

    • 5-Time NWA Champion
    • Tennessee Hall of Fame

    • Mid-American Champion
    • 3rd Army Champion

    • NE Canadian Champion

Today, he is proud to be a high school wrestling coach. He has coached the West Virginia team at the Fargo National Championships. #JustSayin

  4. im surprised no one trademarked these names back in the day. guys like dusty ole anderson and a bunch others never trademarked their ring names

  5. I think Cornette said that Dream Machine had an injury and that's what derailed his career. May have been why he got into drugs was due to pain.

  6. Thats Bautista? holy smokes. Look at his decrepit hands. How old is he? Our esteemed host says noone would know who that is without the head. I didnt have a clue who….or what it was WITH a head lol.

  7. I'm going to have to hear Jim Cornette or Jim Ross take on Vince and Kevin Dunn not mentioning Owen Hart on Raw. Vince Russo will tell a story that benefits him.

  8. You guys should watch the death of the bruise brothers and the birth of the new fabs (dream machine and porkchop cash).

  9. Personally I think Vince did the only thing he could do. Additionally James making statements like that building was a crime scene etc was pretty silly especially when he made comments such as we didn’t know if we pushed or what was silly and a disservice to the Hart family and Owens memory.
I am a bit of a old F#cker and unfortunately have witnessed as well as worked on and or built race cars that were involved in several very serious on track incidents three of which had driver fatalities. All three friends that died doing what they loved and each time one of these incidents happened the first people the racetrack management talked to was the driver who was injured or killed team and then the rest of the drivers in the race to get out input and feedback to continue the race and every single time everyone said we need to finish the race and do so cleanly for our mental health as well as for the fans. Lastly racing teachers you something that only few other sports do and that is to live your life to the fullest you can because minutes from now you might be singing with the angels

  10. I think it was one of those situations where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. It may seem obvious that the show be stopped to you James but, you can't give an unbiased opinion with all of these gone by. You don't really know what you would have done in that moment. But you know the thing that I remember the most is not Owens tragic accident. What I remember is what Jim Ross says as the show is going off air. "I just hope that I can be half the man that Owen was so that I can see my friend again someday." I'll never forget those words, cause we all needed them. Actually, I think he says that on the Raw following the Pay-Per View. Yeah, I think that's when he says that as that Raw goes off the air. It was a whole tribute to Owen, that whole show.

  11. This is the fight time I'm seeing "Dream Machine" I wouldn't say it's Dusty, it seems more family friendly/face version of Dr. D. I'm just expecting him to say "I wanted a Woman, I SAY I WANTED A WOMAN, I SAW ALOT OF MEN THAT LOOK LIKE WOMEN!!!"

  12. There is far too much video of Brody in World Class, AWA, Kansas City, Georgia, St. Louis, Florida, WWWF of Brody doing plenty of selling. He sold to Greg Gagne, Kamala, Kabuki and a 50+ Dick The Bruiser. He worked standard heel monster, like every other top monster heel.
He worked Japan the way they wanted him to work and promoters he had good relationships with didn't jeopardize his Japan gig. Those that did jeopardize it, he wasn't so cooperative with.
