Golf Simulator

$1000 Budget sim is not the sexiest, but once the wife stops matching my purchases exponentially I will add more.

✅$550 Garmin r10
✅$57 10×15 net.
✅$295 matt
✅$88 TV
✅$11 phone to tv adapter
✅$0 FIL’s Northwestern 5w holding the net up

Honorable mention:

✅$1100 mini split

The net can be mounted with the garage door opened, or closed…which is nice.

That’s exactly how I started and slowly improved it. 2 years in now I have a projector, screen, BLP, gaming PC and GSPro.

  2. That looks like a great start but not sure you’ll be able to hit anything higher lofted than an 8 iron with how low that net is. Working on the long clubs will definitely pay dividends though

This is how we all start. Arms race against wifey

Exact same here brother. Bare minimum until I have the funds and a real need for more. Plus it’s easier to take down a net than a hitting enclosure

Is the net far enough from the door to hit driver without the ball slamming into it?

Nice, where did you get the net?

Ugh White Sox 😢 my fellow southsider ‘05 seems like a lifetime ago…

Not to hijack the post, but I’m high and wondering, is there anyway to link up with someone else who has a golf sim and you play a round virtually … 🤨😳

How do you find the R10s accuracy and do u use awesome golf on it or farming software?

Club holding up the net at the top. That’s a nice touch.
