Restoring Hickory Golf Clubs LIVE, Part 1 continued – Rust Removal and Shaft Reconditioning

After four years of repairing and restoring hickory golf clubs for play, I’m attempting to collect all of my tips and tricks for taking a club from “flea to green” in a comprehensive LIVE workshop series where I walk you through every step of the refurbishment process.

This is a continuation of Part 1 due to the original livestream being cut off. If you haven’t seen the original stream of part 1, watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/live/cjSefwnFF44

In the continuation of Part 1 of the livestream, you’ll learn how I:
– Fit a different shaft to a head (the first part of this section was cut off so I’ll be covering these details in full in a future livestream)
– Remove rust from a clubhead and discuss the other options for doing so – 5:50
– Remove the grip and recondition the shaft – 23:27
