The Fever don't appear to be mentally tough. Kelsey is the toughest player on the team. Catlin Clark is an exceptional player but I think she gets intimidated and becomes too emotional. The bench rotations by Sides was confusing. Seems like Sides was concerned about everyone playing versus winning the game. Maybe they are evaluating these players against a team like the Aces for off season purposes. They already made the playoffs. Maybe they realize that regardless of playoff seating, they will have a tough opponent.
Christie Sides intentionally threw the game when Katie Lou and Kristie Wallace were on the floor. I turned the game off knowing a comeback was impossible. The ignored fouls against us were also obvious 🤷🏽♂️
I mean….there are 4 solid consistent players, 2 or 3 good but not as consistent players, and and 5 logs. And a clueless coach. You can only go so far in that situation.
The Fever have no bench depth. Can't win in the playoffs with just 3 dependable players. Need some bench players making a contribution. The Aces got some help from their bench players.
No one played well on either team. Aja got hot for a minute, but fizzled out too. It was ugly on both sides. But I'm not going to trash the Fever for that.
I suspected they'd lose at least one of the two games based on the Aces' performance lately. If they lose tomorrow against 2 time defending Champs, I still can't be mad at them. The Fever started out as the worst team in the league, now they're in the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Ben, the refs allowed Aces players to beat up on Caitlin and Kelsie. And when CC defended herself she got the foul. Please concentrate more on that shit.
Sides goal was to get to the playoffs, which she accomplished, and will get her a salary raise. She doesn’t care about winning anymore games. She wants to be known as the “fair coach” by letting her bench get playing time. Mission accomplished.

My cynicism/paranoia even thinks this might be a plan by the WNBA to create friction within the Fever…?
I think Aja Wilson heard Caitlin Clark might be MVP of the league. That got settled. If the league does not disallow the hand checking and holding of Caitlin Clark then the better let everyone do it. Kelsey Plum is the biggest hacker/ holder in the league. Shocked that they hung for awhile. Kelsey Mitchell is decent but she I a black hole. Ball goes in and is never seen again. She can sure hit the 3 and is clutch at times on her dives but too many time she has her head own and ends up 1 on 4. She has minimal assists and when is the last time he pose to Clark win she is open.
Would this be true assists minus TO's = final result. What's the chances of getting past the Lynx or who ever as long as Sides keeps doing what she is doing. Putting the wrong players on the court. ie, Temi and Dontas not playing more min. for 20 minutes or more. + I thought Temi played center for Boston fantastic. T. is a jumper and fights for the ball which makes her a good rebounder. And she is not intimated by bigger centers. And she doesn't get the ball tied up with the defensive players. What's with Boston on getting tied up so easily. Sides is sentamental towards playing Smith and Pearson for too many minutes. KEEP IT GO BD
It seems like there was something wrong with CC. She looked fatigued (like illness fatigue). She got subbed out very early, which does not happen. She also left the court. All not typical. The fact that her shots were short adds to my suspicion.
