  1. I’m playing the GEN 3 0311p’s and was thinking of upgrading but how much more forgiving are they really gonna be?

  2. I play the Gen5 0311P irons 4-P. Absolutely love them. That 4 iron launches scud missiles and it’s amazing! Probably going to stay in these for at least another iteration before upgrading again.

  3. I think the new bounce will help a lot of my higher handicap players I've been with pxg for 5 years and would love to see a t model but not with the new 12° bounce off the wedge

  4. I'm playing the Gen6 0311 P irons and am very happy with them. I think the Gen 6 look better than the Gen 7, and based on this video I don't see an obvious performance enhancement from Gen 6 to Gen 7. Maybe you could do a head-to-head?

  5. I have never played a PXG. Would love to see a comparison of them versus the new Mizuno HM Pro. I currently play JPX 900 Pro and would like to update. Will your Calgary store be fitting PXG's?
    Thx.

  6. God I hate how brands are allowed to call a club whatever they want. Calling a 27 degree iron a “7” is a joke. The industry needs to agree on angle ranges for clubs and stick to it so folks know what they are buying.

  7. I just got fitted for gen 7 0311p irons. I’m a high handicap and really thought the xp would be the option but I hit them pretty bad and the p model has a ton of forgiveness so I’d say for players who might shy away from the P model bc if their ball striking ability you may be surprised. This is my first pxg anything. I wanted to get away from the usual taylormade / mizuno and just change it up. They felt great so I’m excited to get them in

  8. I've got the 0211 and get along well…but have this more custom with the weights would be ideal especially the top end of the bag.

  9. Sorry for the confusion. My fault.

September 18th is the date that Trump will be sentenced by the judge in NYC.

By all indications, it’s not going to be very favorable for Trump. So, look for a new Republican presidential candidate to emerge.

Word is they are preparing a special place at Rikers Island. Good grief!

  10. Anybody who is a first responder of has military service (at least US, not sure about our Canadian friends) is eligible for their "Heros Program", which saves you about 15 percent off retail. Several other manufacturers have similar programs, although they don't advertise them as much as PXG does.

  11. Exactly what I was looking for. Been waiting to replace my beloved gen 3 P's – The gen 7 looks like the answer. Thanks as always gents!!!!!

  12. Guys I have the gen 5 p irons. Was going to get the gen6 now. But should I go to the gen 7 instead Is it much better than the gen 6 p irons in your opinion

  13. I have a club champion here in Des Moines, IA, can I be fitted for these here, and will it be as good as a PXG store fitting? Currently playing gen2 SGI

  14. Thanks guys! Really love your reviews. Been a Srixon ZX7 MK1 and 2 player for almost 4 years now. Always intrigued by the PXG. Can't wait to try the 0317 Tour and new Gen 7 P irons this fall.

  15. Forgive me. I'm a "traditional" loft player. I play Mizuno mp32's and my pw is, to me, 1 degree strong at 47°. How the heck do you gap your wedges when you go from 41° pw to a 50° gap and 54-56° sw? Also, I always looked at spin to be around the number of iron x 1000. 7 iron=7000 5 iron=5000 etc. What are any benefits to lofting so low and losing so much spin? This all just baffles me.

  16. They sounded harsh and at $ 230 USD per club there are lots of options with other MFGs.

  17. My Liege and Mikey,
That first hack was absolutely hilarious and you still stuck it near the hole!! Legend. Another great review, Lads. Thank you again.

  18. I have the Pxg gen5 Was going to get the gen 6 Is it worth the difference to get the gen 7 instead now. Or just keep the gen5 etc. Thanks guys

  19. Did PXG say their forging involves stamping five times. I’ve heard each stamping makes the steel softer. Mizuno does two. Miura does either three or four. A club builder and fitter I know laughed that each stamp adds $100 to the price, which is why Miuras are so expensive.
