They work for various shaped golf balls unlike todays irons that can only hit the round ones

You have to press the buttons accordingly, else the power shot fails.

For the next season of Squid Games. Miss the green, you get eliminated.

For reference. They’re MacGregor “Vantage” irons. I assume from the 70s or 80s

Post this on the GolfWRX forums. There’s a lot of old golf heads there that would know about these kind of clubs, and they don’t do childish things like comment the same “joke” as everyone else

Those are either the smallest irons ever or your hands are massive.

I’m gonna go on a limb and say they don’t mean anything.

A lot of MacGregor irons have decorative etching on the face of the club, like diamonds, the letters MI, etc.

The brand was pretty famous for having very unique styling, especially with their VIP forged irons.

If you dig through here, you’ll see loads of examples of club faces with shapes on them.

They came from a squid games challenge

  14. Is it possible each shape is where you should be lining up the face of club hit the ball? Like if you wanted to try for a straight, draw, or fade on the corresponding shape?

Based on old swing thoughts and advice, I think it’s this :

Line up to the circle to promote a cut

    Triangle for a straight flight

    Square to promote a draw.

Not the most effective tool but it can definitely do that. Depending on a lot of other factors

you should see an R1,R2,L1 and L2 “button” as well on the left and right side of the club. Press these in a certain order to enter the unlimited money code

I’d have to assume that’s cosmetic or maybe even for training purposes. There’s no way they would effectively be able to affect the flight of the ball.

I assume if you line it up with the ball you’ll naturally want to line it up with the pointed triangle shape.
