Can’t mentally fix coming over the top!!

I mentally can’t stop coming over the top – I do it some with my irons but obviously not as much. Every drive slices so far right and loses so much distance.

  1. You have a very inside takeaway and your downswing is very steep. Your swing should be the opposite. If your backswing looked like your downswing and your downswing looked like your backswing you’d be heading in the right direction.

First things I noticed your shoulder line is open compared to foot aim line. This is a common mistake with driver since the ball is further forward people tend to open when reaching hands forward. Drop the trail shoulder back so you are more parallel to your feet. This should help you turn more in the back swing and swing path should neutralize a bit. Second, I would try and work on something other than a baseball grip, this should give you more club head control.

Place your driver head cover just outside the ball and a bit behind. That’ll make you stop, or you’ll be walking into the range to get your head cover.

Agree with all the suggestions thus far. Also watch a couple videos on how to correct early extension in your golf swing (such as keep a wedge under your right heel until after ball contact).
