A whuld rather have Rashfod over Anthony
Very conflicting signals from the club requarding st james in 2023 the club announced it would stay at st james with a view to increasing capacity to over 60,000 yet recently the club have said it wants write a once in a lifetime cheque and not ruling out a move to a new stadium. Im left confused by the conflicting statements.
Personally Id like to see a new, ""look at us"" super stadia fit for the Geordie nation, we deserve it. Any plans with the training ground I feel is on hold till they know where the clubs playing days will be as it could be determined to have all the facilities training, stadia, hotels and golf course for revenue, in one location. Gosfoth park would suit as horse racing is in decline as a spectating spectacle. Just need the right infrastructure metro lines ect in place. As for st james site last thing the city centre needs is a retail park office spaces so keep it as a space as a reminder to its history club shop, eaterys a fan zone.
I suppose the sentimental part of me would be to rebuild on castle leazers land but not sure if even that allows space for a complete PIF NUFC campus in one place.
