Just wondering

I was trying out some drivers the other day and was wondering, for shaft weight and stiffness what would you look at for an avg. 110 club speed? This was an “ok” hit with a Callaway Rouge ST driver with a XS shaft.
Currently I have a check 0811XF with a REG flex and it seems my miss is a push. I assume it’s because the club head is lagging due to the shaft.

Just go get fitted. You have X speed. But doesn’t mean you have to go X. I hover around same speed but play stiff. Ideal fit will be partly determined by torque (do you have violent speed vs smooth speed) as well as personal feel preference. Likewise, weight has a lot to do with feel preference. Testing out a bunch of different configurations with a good fitter will yield the best result.

I was a golf instructor for over ten years. Used Trackman daily and did a lot of fittings.
If possible, get fit where you can actually have the ball fly and be tracked vs hitting into a net. A lot of misreads and optimized data when indoor.

No simple answer to your question. I know where I would start, but a good fit would be to let you try a lot of different options to see how you perform with each.
Weight, kick point, spine, understanding your typical mishit (either in the face and/or open/close face and general swing path.
You don’t want to chase a swing to be able to hit the new driver.
Do you typically have a positive AoA? That can generate less spin.

Too many factors to answer unless you want a generic answer that shouldn’t mean a thing.
