Want to Stop Moving Forward in your golf swing? Check your posture at set up.



☘️Staying back might be moving you forward ☘️
We can all appreciate how important our set up is in reference to the club face and ball position but what is also very important is setting your body up for success.
👉🏻If you find that you have a tendency to move or thrust towards the ball in backswing or downswing one of the reasons could possibly be the location of your backside and as a reference the relationship between your trail hip bond and foot/ankle.
👉🏻From my experience when players have this trail hip excessively behind the foot/ankle to start they really move only one way and that is towards the golf ball either in an excess amount or too early.
👉🏻Check your posture the next time you on the range to find those good balance points which will allow efficient movement as opposed to encouraging more challenging patterns.
