  1. The Jumbo golf grips are interesting. Would be very interested in a video that takes a deep dive into jumbo v normal grips pretty much throughout the bag testing identically set up clubs whose only difference is the grip.

  2. Agree with everything you've said, Andy. Jumbo grips is my next stop. Perhaps not jumbo, Jumbo😂 but medium or large jumbo. My 5h was difficult to control, so i changed clubs. I'm hitting the new one, so much better, but I'm now wondering if it's due to a naturally thicker grip.

  3. A few months ago, I played Cleveland launcher HB turbo clubs and couldn't believe that i could hit a 4 iron beautifully again! Put a 4, 5 & 6 in my bag and I'm delighted. Long, high and straight. So, Andy – you are spot on with this one. (PS opinion seems to be that this older iteration is better than the current model). Great video, thank you

  4. Hello Andy , thank you very much for producing this video even in the rain. I heard what you said but it is up to each player to follow every trend. Some people out there are no more able to hit an iron in a proper way. They walk around with these hybrids and wonder how to approach the green. Glad I play all irons well and don’t have this issue. 😊😊😊

  5. As a somewhat long hitter, people are sleeping on lofted fairway woods. More forgiving and a better descent angle than a similarly lofted hybrid.

Now, if you are in the UK or west Texas, sure… Stick with the hybrids.

  6. Great points — appreciate it! I was particularly tickled by inclusion of the 7 wood. I put one in my bag about 8 years ago and never looked back (repleaced some long irons I never carry anymore).

  7. As an 83 year old who remembers playing with balata balls and persimmon head woods, I have to chuckle at the new fad for mini drivers. They’re really just what were 2 woods in our old sets, albeit benefitting from technology that didn’t exist 50 years ago. But mini driver sounds sexier and more powerful than 2 wood. And doubtless more forgiving than a strong 3 wood.

  8. The addition of adding a 7 wood and a 9 wood into my rotation of clubs gives me more versatility depending on the course that I am playing vs. equivalent hybrids. Especially on the courses where the rough is deeper.
