I agree… Zoysia is so awesome, I have a whole yard of it! It does not look as good as that golf course but I love it over other types of grasses!

There was a course in FL I played earlier this year advertising their “Diamond Zoysia Greens” and I have to say…I didn’t like them.

*coughs in tiff eagle* In all seriousness Zoysia is phenomenal if you have the right amount of sunlight and a good irrigation system. The two courses I’ve worked at struggled to keep zoysia healthy

I agree. Such amazing bouncy fairways. Perfect lies.
codemunki
Agreed. First time playing on it was at Payne’s Valley and Ozark National this summer. So nice to hit off of.

Man that stuff is expensive

A beauty.

Lived in GA, that course is incredible. It also had a sick clubhouse. What a day that was

Bless you

I’m going to drive I10 from San Diego to the west coast and hit public courses all the way there and back. Give me some courses early summer not to miss in Georgia.

Look at those undulations!

I’m more partial to fescue – plays far firmer than Zoysia, which can grab the ball and render the ground game moot.

That second pic is a beautiful view. I’d even just enjoy sitting off to the side with a six pack and watch others play through.

Great now I’m Bricked up

I don’t see grass, I see carpet.

Hmm that’s only about 75 miles from me. I couldn’t tell from their site, but is it private?

I go on a golf trip every year to Lake Burton and I have played every course around there except Watefall. Brasstown, Curahee, Chestatee, Kingwood, Sky Valley. Apparently the year before I came, they played it and some kid yelled fuck after a bad shot and a member didn’t like it. Couldn’t come back the following year 🥲🥲we may have an in next year and after these pics I need it more than water
Phobia117
Hold up, is that Waterfall Club? Fucking love that course
Although, their whole claim to fame was they had the southernmost bentgrass fairways in the country. Guess they must have done a renovation since I played it last
policesiren7
Never played on Zoysia but have a running joke about it with a friend of mine because of Zinger saying it over and over on a broadcast. It sounds like it’s very similar to Kikuya which I’ve played on for most of my life though

Please don’t post photos of an immaculate course and not tell us where it is.
What a great looking course!
Zoysia is decent. Bent is the GOAT.

Played here earlier this year, and shot my best round of the year!
Nice. Looks like a target course. A hackers worse nightmare.
Zoysia was pretty sexy in her day, but i was an Ava Gabor man.
Thought I was in r/lawncare for a moment
