PXG Irons 2024 | GEN 7 0311 and Black Ops Review

PXG Irons 2024 | GEN 7 0311 and Black Ops Review

Say hello to not one, not two, but three new sets of irons from PXG! In their latest release, we’ve got two lines of Gen7 irons, as well as the Black Ops irons.

If you’re a PXG fan, you’ll know all about the 0311 irons, and here, you’ll find the 0311 and 0311 XP lines. Both are going to offer you great looks and even more forgiveness.

The Black Ops line from PXG has proved popular, so they’ve extended that to their irons. This is PXG’s first line of pure game improvement irons and they’re packed with technology.

So, how do these perform on the course? We gave them to our gear editor, James Tait, to see how they do on the course.

  1. Not mentioned in this video, but some details you might be curious about. The P model is 30 degrees (7 iron), with a 37 inch shaft and .13 inch of offset. The Black Ops is 28 degrees, 37.5 inches, and .165 inch offset. The XP is 27 degrees, 37.5, .16. PXG doesn't generally offer as many shaft options as many other brands. Also, if you are a first responder or have military service (at least in the US) you are eligible for a discount. (Many other brands offer discounts as well, but don't advertise the fact.)
