I disagree with Liz Cheney's policies but I admire her commitment to preserving the Constitution and our form of government. I believe in a functioning two party system. It feels like our whole form of government is about to go over a cliff! Liz Cheney and so many Republicans have stepped up to say "NO!" and it gives me hope.
When trump was elected in 2016, I had people tell me the same thing: "Oh, there are guardrails … he won't be able to do much damage, etc." At the time I was willing to give him a chance. That thinking was a HUGE error!

Every constitutional scholar or even a person who understands the constitution, knows that the Supreme Court is corrupt. That what they did is literally unconstitutional. They are calling the Constitution itself, unconstitutional, which is a tautology that any intelligent person immediately rejects. We know this court has been bought and paid for. They are for sale, they are accepting bribes for outcomes, which we have not seen in many many years.
It’s a damn shame that Liz Cheney isn’t the GOP presidential candidate. She is so much more intelligent, competent AND emotionally grounded than Trump.
