Playing a Cedarbrook tourney in a few weeks. Not quite on that level, but looking forward to classing it up a little. Lots of nice courses up there.

Many years before I played golf, some buddies invited me to go to a par 3 with them. Had a good time despite an inability to make contact (literally never held a golf club before). Later that evening, I go to a bar and tell this woman I just met that we should go play golf the next day. She takes me up on it. Turns out, she was all state or something in golf in high school and shoots even par.
I did not pick up a golf club for another 8 years.
